Throat spray

When it comes to caring for a sore throat, have you considered a throat spray? Let’s take a look at how throat sprays can help you find relief and learn a bit about different types of medicated and herbal throat sprays.

Why throat spray?

Throat sprays are a good option for targeting the back of your throat. Similar to lozenges, they can be tailored with different active ingredients to perform different functions, such as anti-inflammatory ingredients that help reduce inflammation.

Throat spray delivery systems are designed to release a specified amount of a soft mist directly onto the painful area. This means that the inflamed tissues are getting a direct dose of the active ingredients. In addition, throat sprays are easy to administer (just point and spray!), although you should always check the label to see which age groups the product is suitable for.

Remember that if you miss the target area or don’t apply throat spray correctly, there is the risk that it might not work. The best way to avoid that scenario is to carefully read the instructions listed on the product label before spraying.
