The main active ingredient in Difflam products is Benzydamine hydrochloride, which has Anti-Inflammatory, Analgesic (pain relieving) and local Anaesthetic (numbing) properties to relieve pain, inflammation and swelling of the throat, mouth and gums.
Difflam products work quickly to provide pain relief from inflamed conditions such as tonsillitis, sore throat, pharyngitis, mouth ulcers, pain following dental procedures and oral surgery, and oral mucositis following radiotherapy and chemotherapy. Difflam products are indicated for the relief of sore throat and other painful conditions of the oral cavity including: tonsillitis, pharyngitis, mouth ulcers (e.g. aphthous ulcers), radiation mucositis, post-orosurgical and periodontal procedures, and other painful inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat.
Difflam Antiseptic lozenges contain Cetylpyridinium chloride, an antiseptic that helps kill viruses and bacteria that cause oral infection and diseases.
Difflam-C is *Clinically Tested in COVID-19 Patients. Chlorhexidine in Difflam-C is an antiseptic that helps kill viruses and bacteria that cause oral infection and diseases.
